I have already searched this topic in forum but did not find an answer for me.

I have a BB Curve 8520 and I used to be able to watch youtube videos without any issues until a few days ago. I get this error message:An error has occured attempting to play media.

I tried m.youtube.com, downloading your tube app, turining wifi off, taking battery off and restarting, optimization, nothing has worked... I am able watch the videos stored in my phone with no issues. I use TMobile.

Please help!

Are you using the stock OS or did you upgrade?

Stock OS however I tried to upgrade the Media Sync in the Desktop Manager to transfer videos from BB to desktop without success...
In About section on BB this is what I have: v4.6.1.259(platform 4.2.0.116)

try upgrading to OS .610 or .681

sometimes, I can't view the videos as well. :/
maybe the owner turned off "Mobile Viewing"
that's just what I know

I have the same problem... And i've got the latest os.681... Always the same error and i've tried all the sugestions...
