    I try to connect to my wireless internet and I get this. What do I do I'm trying to get on wifi???

    do you have it setup using wep or wpa that requires you input a key to connect to it?

    What type of encryption do you have selected on your router? And I am not referring to WPA or WEP. TKIP or AES?

    It's WPA Personal TKIP.

    i think its TKIP, would that be default?
    Your router should allow the option of both. Do you see an option that says 'TKIP or AES'? They will be an option together.

    Try going to manage connections, then Wi-Fi options. Delete the connection you created and start completely over. Try that and report back.

    What brand router are you using? Can you tell me all the wireless settings you have right now?

    Hi Maybe this will help you. I had the same problem and I know I was entering it right but still got the security key wrong. so i went into the router settings and copied the password by computer not hand - emailed it to myself (I have data and wifi). then I copied it from the email I rec'd and pasted it in when i was prompted for the password and it worked.
