New to blackberries, just got mine last week. Twice so far when I've turned my phone off (in places with no signal, to prevent bb from searching for signal), my connection will be set to off when I turn my bb back on. Why is this happening? Thanks

It's a bug. Same thing happens randomly with mine. You can try upgrading your OS, but don't hope for much.

Stri, you can just turn your Mobile Network (radio) connection off, like using "airplane mode". Then you can continue to use all other non-phone/data functions (calendar, task manager, password keeper, etc.) since your BB is still on.
