"Radio off"/phantom message

Earlier today, I tried to send a text message and I got a message saying my radio was off. I did two battery pulls with no success. I then went to Settings>Mobile Network and saw that for some reason it was set to "radio off." I changed it to ATT and did another battery pull. I then got a message icon on my phone but ... no message! I've looked in SMS, Saved Folder, and Email, all to no avail. I do not have a message hiding. Can anyone help me to solve this mystery? That icon is making me crazy!

have you tried the "messages" folder yet? Missed calls will show up there

Oh, thank you! There it is! The Messages folder was hidden in my "Infrequently Use Apps" folder. I appreciate your help!
