I had the 8310 Curve and was told not to have less than 9 or 10 bytes or the phone would majorly slow down! I now have the 8900 Curve with tons of more bytes. What is the lowest # of bytes the 8900 can sink to and still function normally? Thanks again for all your help CB nation.

Unless you running 300 apps concurrently, you will never have to worry about memory allocation. You have plenty out of the box, more than enough.
Laz is correct, but to give you a baseline, don't let it drop below 10MB. That's not likely to happen though.
Thanks for the info folks. If I take it even close to 10MB you guys need to confiscate my phone. HAHA
If you get down to 10mb you really need to look at what you have on your BB and what is removable.
after abusing my 8900 with all the apps, i still had more than 50mb....
Now am back with 100mb reserve though.
