I had a 8350I and backed up all my data. I just got a 8330 but did not have both phones at the same time to do a transfer of info.

My question is this, can I take the backup from the 8350 and restore it to my 8330 and not cause a catastrophic failure?

Everything should transfer over without any problems. I've gone from an 8310 to an 8900 and am, as I'm typing this, going back to the 8310. The problem I've had with changing devices has been with third party apps that aren't compatible between OS's or hardware.
