When I received my CB it had a poker game on it Texas Hold'em King somethin2. When i tried to load the first update my CB bricked and I no longer have the game. Is there any way to get it back other than searching and purchasing it?

Use DM and make sure it is checked under application software.

I have tried that, it isn't there to check and reload.

Prior to doing the update did you do a backup?

No I didn't I was trying to when the phone bricked. When this CB first came out the DM dvd that came in the box was corrupt which I didn't know until I called Nextel for support to get it back working again. It took the Nextel CB so called expert over an hour to get my CB workingf again and most everything that was factory loaded was gone.

Make sure you do the one without the media manager.

Thanks but I have DM 5.0 now on my laptop. When I called Nextel they walked me through loading the DM from RIM to be able to unbrick my CB back then.

Go to options then avanced options and select Applications.
See if it shows up there. If it does it may be hidden.

Other then try and resend service books I am at a loss. Maybe Casper has an idea on this.

BUT i dont know if it will work....



download the file extract it to your desktop....
hook up to the dm
app loader
add/remove apps
browse... goto the files you just extracted to your desktop
ok
check and make sure that it is checked
next
next

you should have it now on your BB

@DTL What did you use to fix your "bricked" berry?

The tech on from Nextel Had me load the correct version on DM and talked me through loading the software back on my CB.

You currently are running 4.6.1.204 and the app is not hidden? You may have to wipe and reload the OS.
I would suggest removing all DM from your PC and download a fresh copy. Make sure you empty recycle bin before you DL the fresh copy.
Maybe use a PC that has not had DM on it prior.

Yes i am running .204 and no the app isn't hidden. I did just download DM to a new puter that didn't have it before, so i will try and do a reload when i get home.

the app is not in the DM... its in the OS release. download the 204 release again, install it on your computer, then reload it on your BB
