Question about using phone and other features

Is it possible, while using the phone talking to someone to look up a name/number in the contacts without losing connection?

yes... it really helps if you have your BT on and in....

hit the back button while on the call, a screen will pop up, say yes

now your on the homescreen, go where you would like.... no internet though, but if your on wifi you can send and receive texts and emails!!!

i have been able to text and recieve text for a month today i got one text read it and answered back now i can recieve text but when i open them they all say cant receive try again later and when i respond back i keep getting the x y is that i also went and restored my back up from desk top nothing happened PLEASE HELP ME

there is an issue with texting today

oh okay cause every now and then i can open one read it and reply back and it sends no problem then rt after that it goes back to what i was explaining do u know the reason y its is acting up

there is an outage. there is an OS release scheduled today. there is a system update scheduled for tonight, and they all deal with TEXTING!!! so it could be any or all of those things. its being worked on...... thread closed
