I was wondering about the unlimited data plan
If I use the email service built in my phone (yahoo and blackberry) will I be charged for an sms message when it notifies me of a message

And will I be charged for
    Using instant messaging
Using my phone as a modem

Also does anyone know if incoming texts are subtracted for my total messages in my plan

I looked all over and I want to be sure I don't end up with a $300 bill
    Thanks

I don't know answer to all of them but you are responsible for outgoing and incoming SMS. It subtracts both from your total. You can keep track by calling #674#.
You don't get charged per email either. It comes along with the data feature. Unlimited emails and web browsing.
