Hello, i have a problem with my 8900

none of my home screen icons (BB messenger, msn, email etc) display the red Star notification for when i have a new message.

if i enter the home screen i can see the icons have the red notification star but the home ones don't. im using the Stock Precision Silver theme and i have OS 4.6.1.250 installed.

Please help this is really annoying

if i reset it the problem fixes.....but it comes back soon after...

I did battery pull and it fixes but as soon as I get a new message and read it, it's messed up again. notification turns off and never comes back when i get a new message...
