Quite correct no LED for the trackball on the 8900. It does look a bit weird on the bold. I will be changing it around again. By the way the atomic trackball will work on all current BlackBerry's.

Today I have decided to go and check out the bold Nov 4th but my heart is officially set on a 8900.... Hopefully no other devices w/beautiful pictures will be released before I buy an 8900 so I don't change my mind AGAIN

I am too LOL. It's not that bad but I need an organizer and something with more functions. The one thing I do love about this phone is the different shortcuts so I don't have to do a lot of scrolling

the only thing i liked about my old LX was the bumper lights, and after a while, those made me crazy too

but back on topic, the trackball really doesn't need to be lit, everyone knows how to scroll
