I just bought the BB 8520, Other than the battery stand by all looks fine. Till I got a surprise when I removed the memory card from the slot and used it on my laptop for some transfers. After using the same when I have re inserted the same sd card in my 8520, I am unable to see any media, pictures or music.

When checked again in the laptop the data is intact and can be viewed from source (same sd card)

Please help as I thing there is some setting option that I have still not explored.

Are your pictures and music in the correct spot on the SD card? If it got moved then presumably the BB would not be able to find them.

the music wont play either. I pressed the icon to start listening to music - nothing. When I explore the card, the files are there. I've formatted the card, removed everything from the card, media player still wont open up.

Go into the ringtones on the device itself; will they play?
Go to media > open the menu > Explore > Device Memory> Samples> Ringtones> Click any one of them and see what happens.

My problem is exactly the same! How to fix this guys? HELP!
