Picture mail blank or black screen MMS

Gonna post this because I had to figure it out on my own.

ps: hi guys, great forum.

A few months ago, my wife's Curve 8300 stopped displaying picture mail. It would link over and the end result was a black screen.

Baffled, I tried everything. Only effect I could have was changing the black screen to white (Browser setting: Foreground/background color toggle.
)

To make a long story short, her BROWSER emulation was set for IE. When I changed it back to Blackberry, the pictures started showing up.

Of course, the first thing you should do is make sure have the updated software, etc. etc.

I hope this is hopeful, because I had a really, really hard time finding a solution.
