I downgraded from .138 to .131
-Much longer battery life using .131
-better signal using .131
-Call timer exists in .131
.138 was very disappointing in retrospect
How the .160/.131 hybrid working for folks?

Was there any other changes? My battery life doesnt bother me because I am on the phone all day, doesn't matter what I do the battery is doomed to run out. I don't get a great signal when @ the office but no one does so I'm not really concerned with anything there, it seems inevitable that signal here is going to suck.
I am that kind of person who likes to stick with the official OS from Verizon, I know, it's stupid, but I just feel more comfortable that way...;)
I never used Verizon's official .138. I think I used Telus'.
I am not seeing too many chnages other than what I posted. A few minor, insignifant items I am forgetting at this time.
The .138 was horrible for me, worse than .77 so I went with the .160/131 hybrid and it's a world of difference. Speaker blast gone, No trackball lag at all, battery lasting a little longer than .77, apps work much snappier and even browser speeded up a little.
I too didn't want anything but the official OS but this hybrid should be official ;)
Well, the .138 solved most of the issues I was having ;) For now I will stick with it...
I went from Verizon official .77 to Telus .138 and I agree with you --a big difference. The .77 was a failure
I think I may try the hybrid this weekend. Thanks for input
