This has been discussed previously in anther thread, I am just not exactly sure which one. I'm sure if you do some searching around, you can find it. It was in this forum a week, maybe 2 ago.

Basically the feature has been updated now so that it only shows up if the SMS delivery has failed and a re-send is necessary. If I'm incorrect, someone please correct me. I am not 100% sure but that is what I remember about it.

I can confirm as of today... I am on .174 and when the message fails to send, the option IS THERE...

so no option exists if you just want to resent the text for the heck of it?.. I sometimes do that when someone hasnt replied and its urgent.

Precisely. Once a send fails - the resend will be available. Fine with me I am happy with .174 so far.

Ha me too.. I don't have the 'resend' when it sends (which isn't a problem to me), but is that really a feature to downgrade over?.. guess so..

It is there guys. Instead of pressing the trackball and you only see "COPY, FORWARD, DELETE, FULL MENU," press the Menu button and resend is right there...

I don't have it either. The "resend" option is only on the full menu when an SMS has failed to send, but to resend the original sent message, i would have to forward it to the same recipient.. I know it sounds confusing but for those who dont have the "resend" option, I'm sure they can relate.

Not really a big deal. im on the .168 os and its not there either. i dont really use that function anyway.
