Anyway to put US English on the phone? Not that I hate the Brits. But, I'm used to American English.

Alright, any help here would be tremendously appreciated. I just upgraded my os to V4.5.0.81 today, very excited about the Video, but, ever since I completed the upgrade, my phone keeps shutting off and powering up again, it's extremely irritating. I am in the US on AT&T. Again, any help would be great, I leave it in the hands of the Guru's.

    Thanks!

Ok so I'm not savvy to the whole OS thing so I have a couple questions...

What's the benefit of upgrading to the v4.5/81? I'm currently on v4.2?

Will I lose any info when I download it? (I have the the Desktop Mngr so should be no prob reloading my info)

Where do I find the vendor.xml file? I'm on TMo.

I want the video camera on my phone. I went to the link provided, but how do i know which program to download? I downloaded the one for the 8320, but it only gave me version 4.2. What am I doing wrong? I have t-mobile, is there an easier way to get the latest version installed?

Key features of 4.5 over 4.2 are HTML email, and video recorder. There are other features, but frankly I've been using 4.5 for so long and upgraded a week after I got my Curve, I can't remember what they are.

There should be no data loss. Backup before you start and follow the instructions for backing up 3rd party apps. Also, I suggest using the upgrade procedure using Crackmem. http://forums.crackberry.com/f35/cra...eleased-52044/

    Vendor.xml will be located here: c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

Most important, be patient. The update can take up to an hour of total time.

Agreed...when I updated, it took at least 40 minutes. It was well worth it though.

Good luck. I'd do the upgrade during tonights debate. That way after you get all fired up, you'll be calmed by the serenity of your newly upgraded BB.
