How do I know if I have an 8330 or 8330m?
the SKU is:BB8330C on the box. Does that mean I have an 8330c? Will I be OK with this os?
Thanks... I had some troubles getting all my apps going with .138, and now that I have it all working, it's time to do it all over again!

Type #HELP* then press Talk. What is the "Model:" displayed on the screen?

Ok I am just the 8330, but now I have another question after seeing that screen.
I seen earlier that some were talking about "Just finished the update and did the *228 option 2 as well,"
Should I also do that? and for that matter, what is *228 option 2? Thanks again for the info

havent had this problem with other OS updates but it asks to downgrade as in the 101 tutorial If for some reason you happen to be downgrading a box will pop up and ask if you want to change the systems applications(OS) or leave them. You need to select 'Replace Devices Applications with older version'. If you are not downgrading you will see the Device Application Selection screen" any suggestions?

Installed earlier today. I did the PRL and have no RF issues. I have had no backlight lag either. I came from .131, and I have more free memory (approx 3 megs, 40 vs 43) when I first boot up.

Did the install, went well. Only issue is that I will get an occasional "squelch" in my bluetooth earpiece or speaker on handset. I have also had it hang on the connecting part of the call. It says it connects but I don't hear anything. The person I am calling receives the call but does not hear anything. Maybe I should do a re-install. How would I go about this? Thank you.

Tom, try a battery pull with the BB on first to reset your BB. After 30 seconds, reinstall the battery.

If you are using DM 4.7 you have to disable your network/internet connection before loading this OS.
