Lets me start off by saying I love my BB curve 8320 and the CB website I've learned alot so far.

Ok so here is my first newbie dumb question that I could most likely have the answer to in seconds if I looked around here a bit. I live in a community that offers free Wi-Fi internet access. I just want to know if I connect to it from my BB will it put it at any risk for information theft of any kind? I know I know laugh it up a little...LOL! Just crossed my mind now that I use my BB for everything. Thanks A trillion!

I'd say there is more of a chance of someone physically stealing your phone.

You can use Wifi without concern about your privacy.

I have been experimenting with mine and there is no way to see my device content from another computer on the same network. It would make some things simpler, but it just does not work that way.
