okay i just got my bb from a buddy who had tmobile and unlocked the phone. I have at&t and im planning to get the data plan for it. i spoke with some people at at&t who says the data plan wont work on it, however; another person at a different at&t said it would. my question is i keep reading about sending service books and if i got the plan and didnt send the service books would the data not work? and would all the apps like facebook, google maps, etc work properly on the tmobile phone with att data plan?
I used a TMO 8900 on AT&T and all of my fuctions, browser, and emails worked. You will have to go to BIS and create and setup your email accounts, for your browser, all AT&T should need is your PIN and IMEI numbers.
