- Ok, so I just got the phone and I'm trying to set up my email. I did the username and password setup fine. Now I'm trying to access ANYTHING related to my email address. 06-10-08 07:18 PMLike 0 - avt123O.G.im going out on a limb to say you purchased your phone from a friend or a 3rd party... if so (which im pretty sure thats the case) then they have to release everything associated with this pin in regards to email as the Blackberry email acct still shows other addresses associated with this pin and these changes have to be done on the BB site...or you can call your provider and explain you got the phone from a friend and you need to clear the email addys associtated with the PIn and they shouild be able to do it...( atleast verizon did it for my buddy with my old phone)06-10-08 07:22 PMLike 0
- Good point AVT...i know verizon did it they just simply asked him if i had transfered all my accts to the new phone already as that would delete my vzw.blackberry.net email if i hadnt...06-10-08 07:24 PMLike 0
- Hmmm...ok all i can suggest is Call sprint and speak to a tech in technical support as im not sure why it would be doing this....then again im sure their is someone much more seasoned on CB then me that would know how to correct this, however im not on sprint so i appologize im not much help...( however im very impatient so i would prob call while you wait for some more posts?)06-10-08 07:27 PMLike 0
- I had the same issue with my 1st berry that I purchased on ebay. I contacted the seller. He had already had all of his information removed. I was waiting on my cell phone carrier - at&t to revise the information in the system. I confirmed all of the information thru a RIM Rep when I could not set up my e-mail account.
