I just bought a pair of these 8310 curves at the advice of my buddies who said it's far better than the Iphone....

I'm still learning all the basics but have a few questions for you Curve Gurus:

1) How do you guys chat on AIM, Gchat, MSN, etc with this thingy?

2) Can I change the main background picture where all the icons are at?

3) How do I create a profile that has vibrate and custom ring tone?

4) Is there a quick way to activate keyboard lock?

I'm not new to computers but this new gadget has my head spinning in all directions! I'm used to a simple flip with send/end on it...haha

2. Yes. Any picture you have select MENU, SET AS HOME SCREEN IMAGE.

3. Go to PROFILES. Scroll down to ADVANCED. Highlight VIBRATE. Click MENU then EDIT.

4. Press K.

Is there a way to get pictures from my lap top into this phone? What is the best way to load pics without actually taking them?

Do you have a mini SD card?

If no, just e-mail them to yourself.
