So my boss gave me his old blackberry when my phone broke, but all his contacts and stuff are still on the phone. When I put my sim in it it works but it still has all his stuff on it. Is there a way to erase it.

thanks, that worked great. I am having another problem now I can't send or receive texts or go online. I think it is because I went from a i870 to a blackberry but not sure how to get it working. Any help would be appreciated.

I have nextel service. I downloaded the service books from the boostberry tutorial and i am now able to send texts but can't recieve them. OS .204 DM 4.7
The phone service is through work so I don't think upgrading my service is an option. I have NXTL next to the antanae signal strength bar, so it sounds like I should be able to use the browser and recieve texts.

Ok borwser is working now but still can't receive texts.

if your on nextel, call them tell them you have a blackberry and to add the blackberry provisioning to your account....

Did you you try resending the service books and unhiding icons and looking in all the folders
