Ok so i've gone through EVERY notification in the profiles i use on my curve 8330 and i've disabled the LED in every way i know how. Its a verizon 8330 curve with the iberry 2.0 today plus theme. i can't get the LED to turn off. i've changed sms, mms, phone, email, etc. settings. when i reboot it it will stay off but as soon as i receive something(email, call, sms, mms, etc.) and i go and open said item and clear it out of the new notifications by viewing it, the led will still flash and never turn off until i reboot it again.
as a last ditch effort i was able to combat this problem on a Cingular 3125 which if you all remember was a windows mobile flip smartphone. i had to short out the led with a piece of metal across some contacts. i'd rather not do that so if there is a way around this then please let me know. thanks!
