If you don't know how to get to that location on your computer, I'm not sure I would recommend that you try to create a hybrid OS to put on your phone.

Thanks man that helped a lot. Do I have to do this with the CD that came with my blackberry? when I put that in its says it version 4.7 Desktop Manager. Any way I can change that backdown to 4.6?

Nah man. Its alot easier than it sounds, but we're just looking out for you. Better to have a working phone with stock OS than a bricked phone.

So I opened the folder now its says to Go to the GSM/UMTS/CDMA folder. None of those are shoeing up. I have GPRS and Java. Is GPRS the one?

I would also suggest to not use Desktop Manager 4.7 and instead use version 4.6 as it is much better to use on the 8900.

But seriously, I'm worried for you that you are going to mess up your phone.

I know im still debating on it. So how can I go to 4.6? Do I get from Blackberry.com? With no media manager right?

Yes, from BB.com and without the media manger would be best.

Hybrid OS isn't rocket science, you just copy the radio files over and run apploader... its not going to screw anything up...

I think he should lose his BB for the rest of the questions though... lol

ok so I copied and paste it already. And I went to the loader. And now its telling me I need to choose the appliciations that need to be installed. Do I need to have A Desktop manager on my computer to upgrade?
