Alright so my keyboard lock button on the top left of my phone is broken and doesnt work at all. So... I just installed 5.0 and problem with that is you cant assign another key to "Keyboard Lock" and i need my keyboard to lock during school so im not accidently dialing .. Please help

1) it's an issue with 5.0.0.461. 2) use the standby. You'll not only not dial randomly, you'll save battery life. If that doesn't work for you, roll back to a previous 5.0 version. It will most likely be fixed in the next OS.

Agreed. I got into the habit of using the keyboard lock with my first bb, my trusty 8700g. The standby takes a tiny bit longer, and although minor, its off putting. I pull my bb out and check it quickly too many times during the day to use a password.

My expierence with setting a password while on the .461 OS, is everytime you unlock the device, you have to key in password, whic in my opinion is aggrivating!! I used the lock key until i upgraded....now just use stby key.
It locked everytime it was holstered and everytime a password was needed to access device....kinda sucked.....soooooo, standby it is for me!!

Anyone experience this? Just started yesterday.
The unlock button on top locks just fine, but then refuses to unlock.
*+send will not unlock either.
Only way I've found to "unfreeze" the lock is battery pull.

Frustrated!
