I have the 8520, and can send and view video that I take, but when video is sent to me it will not play... starts to play then mssg comes up: an error has occured attempting to play media. I need some help plz!! thnx

Could very well be that it is the wrong format or video is to long. Also try to do a battery pull.

tried the battery pull-no diff
have video sent from a palm, 2 other phones- no difference
also tried a 2 second video and a 30 second video- no difference

It's probably on the wrong format...

The 8520 supports these video formats:
MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV3

Can you download the file first then play it? May be worth a shot...

Have you tried doing a battery pull?

You can always use Media Manager...
