There's a little ledge (?) at the bottom of the card. Pull down the ledge with one finger and then slide out the card to the left with another.
It's something that requires only one second and no tools, but you have to have noticed this ledgey-thingy, otherwise it's a PITA.

Don't use ANYTHING to get it out other than your thumbs. You can turned the phone sideways and use your thumb on your right hand to move the lever down and use your other thumb to slide it out. Don't be like I was when I first got my 8900. The thread is around here. I was using tweezers to get it out and snapped the damn card in half. One half in my hand, the other half stuck in my phone.

keep trying, even if you have to wiggle it a little. it'll slide right out.

I had trouble with this at first too. I just took a piece of tape, stuck part of it on the card and pulled it out (while pushing the tab that locks it into place). It worked nicely.
