I have Metro PCS and am considering purchasing the blackberry curve 8330 that just became available. The sales rep said the only issue is that the internet use will be comparable to dial up bc of the service provider capabilites (or lack thereof). The phone is $450. I am on the fence about the purchase. Any feedback would be appreciated!

No way should you pay $450 for a 8330. Honestly, I would find a new service provider. The 8330 is a great phone but old at this point and completely out dated. I just got my wife a new 8900 for $149, if you are going to a new wireless provider you can get a lot of new Berry's free. On top of that they already told you their network is terrible.....here is your sign

You are better off going to Tmobile if you want a BB that bad. I wouldn't recommend anyone on MetroPCS to get a BB from them. They are raping you on the price of the phone and then you are going to have crappy service and not even be able to use the dagone phone.
