Ok well i believe its the 10k sms's i have.
and when composing or replying to a new sms it takes a while before I can reply. Meaning its sluggish.
I don't want to have to delete any messages xD
any alternative to making thinks snappier?

    I'm running .250

How often do you refer to old text messages? I have mine set to keep them for 14 days, but usually delete all within a week of receiving them.

You can backup your phone to your computer and it will store your messages in the backup file.

nivekz, i do believe in the back-up section of the Desktop manager, it has a SMS back up. check the options on the back up section, but thats about all i know.

Why or what could be so important that you have to save all your text messages? If you don't mind me asking.....I have never heard of anyone ever saving every text message or have the need to. If I had to look for a specific text it would be a total PITA if I had 10,000 texts on my phone...just curious what you are trying to accomlish by never deleting a text, maybe there is a workaround of some type?

up until around 6k everything was perfectly fine then it started getting slower.
I could maybe save them on the media card?

Sounds like you need to weight your options? Dwell on the past with old text messages, or create new memories with new ones. Essentially you are killing your blackberry by keeping this messages on there. To my knowledge you cannot store SMS on memory card.

IMOP - delete all prior messages is the best feature.

Just for kicks - delete all the messages and see what happens.
