I've selected a certain tone for an incoming SMS message. After the initial tone plays I have selected the option to have the led light flash to let me know I've missed it.

Now what I would like to do is in addition/or to the flashing led is also have the phone play any sound of my choice, say maybe every 5mins to let me know that I've missed some kind of message or call. This way I don't have to actually look at the phones led to know I've missed something.

My old RAZR would do this so I'm assuming this more advanced phone will too, but I can't find that setting anywhere?

Buy BerryBuzz from the Crackberry store.

There's no built-in option for this.

Yeah a 3rd party app is gonna be your best bet! And BerryBuzz is good one for this.
