So I keep wiping my handheld, and restarting my BB from factory settings because I keep loosing device memory.
Now I followed the blackberry 101 on how so save memory, I even uninstalled a bunch of unused apps. However I keep my messages and calendar dates more than 30 days because I need them. Could that be the problem?
And before anyone sends the link. I already saw the thread for the CrackMem application, would resting my BB with crack mem really make that much of a difference? Or is my problem 30+ days of messages, texts, and calendar dates?

Keeping text, emails, and calendar dates past 30 days will take up space. Crackmem will get rid of apps you dont use, but you if you are keeping messages that long it doesnt matter what you do, you still will start to run out of space.
That is your problem I guess. If you have used crackmem and that did nothing it must be. After using crackmem I saw a pretty nice increase on my bb. Its not mind blowing but I do not have issues keeping my calendar/texts and messages for less time. Think tae nailed this one
Like a month ago I had about 12000000 byts of free memory. Soday I have the same amount of message as before but it starts as 9000000 max and goes to about 5000000 or 4000000 bytes. And its the ssame amount of messages. No apps open What's that about?

What apps do you have on your phone.. Even if they are not running.. And are you doing a battery pull to clear memory.. And are you deleting your browser cache and things like that.
Basic ones, google maps, facebook, I'm apps, viigo and opera, and nintaii. Yeah I do battery pulls a few times a day and I'm sick of it. Ocationally I clear cache too

I have read that Viigo is quite a memory hog. Having several IM apps and not closing out of Facebook can cause memory loss. Also if you are sick of battery pulls, Quickpull is a free app that can mimic it for you and it doesn't take up that much memory.
I try to clear my cache every other day or so and I really don't use my BB that much. It may be worth your while to do that a little more often, its amazing how much it really adds up.
Facebook and viigo are your issues. I tried both of them and had issues with them so I can say from my experience. Viigo was on my device for a short time and caused problems though many here will say it works fine for them. Facebook was the same for me. It was buggy as **** also. Remove one and see how things go or do both and your issues will resolve I am pretty sure.
