    I have an 8GB memory card.
    When I go to Options>Media Card
    It says Total Space: 3.3GB
    Why doesn't it say 8GB??

    Do you have a lot of pics, videos, etc on it? Did you format it when you put it in your phone? If not you can format it by going to options>media card>menu>format card. Hope this helps...

    And you probably need to upgrade your OS version. Version 4.3 and higher support 8GB.

    Yes

    You can move it over to the PC first and then format, return it to the card. Use mass storage mode on the card and drag and drop from windows if you dont have a card reader on the PC..

    Yes, it will. You should copy the contents onto your computer BEFORE you format it.

    As stated in post 5 you will need to upgrade your OS to use the 8gb card unfortunately.... Here is more info

    Yep Mama was right..you need to update your OS if you have 4.2. This link shows what size the diff OS supports...
