I'm getting the following error message at power up on my BB8900.
"A media card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the error message please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer."
I would imagine I could remove the media card, but I have photos stored on it and would like to continue to use it....any suggestions?
Thanks!

If you have a pc, insert it (with adapter) and see if the pc recognizes. Make your back up then use the pc or device to reformat it.

Don't need to re-format, once you have connected to your pc go to windows explorer>select media card>properties>tools
