    I went to use view my BB maps on my 8900 for the first time, says that they are disabled. How do you enable the maps?

    Do you have a data plan and what os do you have? I don't think you can use maps if you don't have the data plan.

    look in options>advanced options>maps>default service and see if blackberry maps is listed there.

    If that still doesn't work download google maps. Its a good alternative. If that doesn't work either then you should call it in.

    I will get the google maps , keep reading on tese forums google are better,butwas still curious about the BB Maps, now - want to know why mine don,t work.
