    now how do actually ad stuff to it? like my thoughts of the day. i want to be able to use it as a journal. My memo pad is already being used for something else. There is no option to add things to my new folder. Please help

    Maybe you need a 3rd party app? Check out the CrackBerry store.

    I use my memo pad for everything - and I mean everything.
    I have shopping lists, size charts, spelling words (3rd grade son), a fun poem that love to read over when I am bored and a whole bunch more.

    3rd party apps? what is the point of making a new folder then. I am confused

    You can make a new folder to organize all your home screen icons. I dumped all my AT&T junk in one to get them off my home screen. I don't think you can make shortcuts to files, though.
