This goes into the "For What It's Worth" category. My 80 year old father recently purchased a laptop computer. He refers his laptop as his "LT" when he writes emails. In order to keep things simple for him I wanted to refer to it as that also, until I noticed that when you type the letters "lt" on the BB it automatically inserts the local time...a shortcut of sorts, I guess.

Interesting! I never knew that before. I tried typing lt in SMS and BBM, and the local time also gets inserted in those.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that it happens with SMS and BBM. I would never have found this shortcut but for the fact that my father calls it his "LT". I have no clue why I would ever insert local time in any correspondence but like I said...."For What It's Worth".
