i do not have any messages or anything on my myspace (and i have checked both on my blackberry and on my computer) but the little white icon for the myspace application up top will not go away, it is still saying i have one notification! what do i do?

alright! so i tried the suggested battery pull and now the myspace white icon is gone but there is still a number one up top near the other notifications with no icon next to it! what does this mean?

I had a problem similar to this a while back, when I first installed the myspace app.
Try addressing any notifications your have on myspace, from your PC. Things like messages, requests, etc are the reason the notification is there. In my case it was a little white myspace/people icon with a 3 next to it, it meant there were 3 unopened messages in my mailbox, they were buried deep in my mailbox too.
They have a MySpace app for the BB? :-D

Did you try logging out of the myspace application? That should do the trick.

Mine won't go away! I have tried everything. I no new messages on myspace and the icon has been there for days!

If you tried everything on this page try changing to one of the default themes!!
AND THEN CHANGE IT BACK?
