You sync the 2 thru the Desktop Manager.

Do you have it installed on your computer?

Well DM is not up to date, the latest release is 5.0.XXX. Also, I believe you need at least Outlook 2000 or better for syncing, though why it isn't working with 2010 is a bit of a mystery.

Outlook 2007 even needed to be upgraded from Outlook 2003 before the proper conduit was recognized.

Well I use Outlook 2003 at work, but being on BES it works perfectly. I use 2010 at home, but I don't sync with it, but I can't see why it shouldn't work, especially if used with the latest DM.

Now that you have DM 5.0... make sure your Outlook is a current one. As the other users mentioned.... it may not work with Outlook 2003 or earlier.

Are you using 97 or 2010? You mentioned both in one of your posts.

If not... you have me stumped. I'm pretty familiar with Sync in Outlook.

It should work with Outlook 2003 as that is what I use at work. One issue that I have read about is that if a person upgrades from Outlook 98 or Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003 that the conversion prevents some BB's from syncing. Don't know if that provides any clues, but both my work PC and my home PC work with my BB. (Outlook 2003/Work Outlook 2010/Home), but I have only synced at home one time as I am on BES and just needed to get my contact database in the BB, nothing else.
