I just deleted all the preinstalled wallpaper. How do I get rid of Handango & T-zones too? Anyone know the file name for them? I am moving everything I don't want into a new folder on my computer following optimize your BB. How to set up for max free memory. Any other things to delete?

    TIA
    Amy

Isn't T-Zones the internet like Medianet for AT&T? If so, I don't think you can remove it.

Handago... go to options, then Advanced Options and then Applications. In here, you will then hit the menu key over 'Handango' and then 'delete'

T-zones opens the browser to purchase apps, ringtones etc. I can't delete handango or T-zones from the app list on my BB. I guess it must be in the core applications or something so I figured I could delete it like how you delete wallpaper and other preloaded stuff you can't delete from your BB.

    Thanks!

No problem... You can hide most of them. I wouldn't mess with those anyways. They probably don't take too much memory.

i dont think you could delete them they sound like service book stuff...so even if you delete them from ur service book they gonna come back when you do a battery pull and im sure they dont take any space at all.....

How is your phone doing after the optimization? Is there a huge difference in speed or anything?

I noticed a huge difference when I first did it way back when on my 8320. You will notice going through the menus is faster and getting into different apps as well.

Before doing the optimization, I had barely a MB of free memory - now I have 18MB! Everything is noticeably quicker - opening programs, basic phone functions.

Can someone please link the thread to the optimization of the phone? I'd like to see what this is all about myself. I'd imagine it's deleting wallpapers, unused lanugages, etc...

I gained 10mb or so. I keep messing with it adding things back, taking other things off. Good learning experience

I gained 5mb...and lost a whole bunch of hour-glassing time! This was worth the effort.
