I want to load an app that has the file extension .jar It is a JAVA app and I am not having any luck. Suggestions or instructions on how to do this would be appreciated.

Have you tried installing through your BB browser? I know .jad files are for OTA download and I think .jar files are as well.

what i do is i have created an apps folder on my memory card. then you simply drag and drop the file from your computer onto your BB. disconnect your bb from the pc and open your media. click the menu button and hit explore. now browse to your newly created apps folder and select the jar file. now when the window pops up select download and it will install it.
