I have only had the BB since Friday, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.

I am having an issue with texting. When I switch between T-Mobile's mobile network and my home wifi, I do not get text message from other blackberry users (I do from standard cell phones on Sprint and AT&T). I have to power off the BB and power it back on after switching for it to work. My home wifi is basic WPA2 encryption, MAC Address Filtering, 802.11b/g.

I have contacted T-Mobile about it and the rep I talked to didn't have allot of experience with the wifi feature on the BB.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Follow my WiFi guide...

I have a suspicion the router config may have something to do with it

Although, you are not having an issue connecting to WiFi if the messages are not being sent... that is a UMA connection problem!

Regardless, check out the guide... I am still working (when I have time) on a dedicated UMA section, so pose questions within that thread if you need more help!

And welcome to CB! No Qs are dumb here!
