Is it possible to get internet explorer as a browser on my blackberry?
Unless you run an emulator, probably not. I don't see IE being ported to anything other than WM phones.
But the bigger question remains, why would you want IE... on anything?
skyfire (firefox) will be coming out from BlackBerry sooner or later...will be much better than IE could ever be IMO.
Skyefire is not firefox and not related to firefox at all.

i haven't heard of IE for BB, Opera Mini works well though.
Skyfire is gona be way better, and I like Bolt browser!
LOL! My thought exactly!
I've had great success with Opera Mini. I tried Bolt for a couple of days but couldn't handle the new page loads when I backed up to previously visited sites. You don't get that with Opera.

Skyfire isn't Firefox at all. It's a 3rd party group entirely.
They ARE working on mobile firefox. It's called Fennec, and available for a Nokia model and WinMo phones in it's Alpha stage.
I use the built in browser for all my WAP pages, and I use Opera for full pages.
thanks for the responses...I just want a different browser that the standard one. I keep getting blocked from certain websites due to java script not being enabled:confused:
You can change the options for the browser to enable javascript, or prompt you to enable it. After you open the browser, Menu(BB) Key ->Options->Browser Configuration. I leave "promptto enable javascript" checked - and have rarely been prompted.
You can also change the Emulation mode to IE, if you want - but I can't really say what that does.
