i travel back and forth from eastern europe.

i just found out i can use the uma signal to call back home.

if i use the wifi to surf the internet will i get data charges from t-mo?
or if i shut off the network and use the wifi will be able to sidestep the charges?

does anyone have any helpful advice for traveling internationally and using your stateside network service?

what to do and what NOT to do would be helpful.

You are right on track. Turn off your Mobile Network Connection and use the WiFi Connection and UMA to get your data and calls.
