Hi, I have recently downloaded BlackBerry Handheld Software v5.0.0.860 from RIM's website and I am having a little trouble installing it using Windows 7. I would really like some advice in doing this if anyone could help please.
It would help us a lot if you could describe what "a little trouble" actually is, so we can focus on a solution. Also, what OS exactly are you installing? 5.0.0.860 is surely the carrier's package and not the OS version. Try the application version, that is actually the OS version.
I run 7 here and don't experience any issues. Since I am running hybrids and leaks have been going crazy, I do a lot of updates.
Sorry hahaha should have read that through. Currently I am running 4.6.1.259 with T-Mobile. I was having trouble installing in being the DTM wasn't recognizing it or anything. Is there an easier way of doing this? Where can I find the OS version?
