I have a new 8900 Curve and almost every time I unlock the screen after taking the device out of the holster, I get an 'Incorrect Password' message after typing in the password. I re-enter the password and it unlocks fine. I don't have the caps lock on and there are no accidental keystrokes already punched in. I have owned a BB for many years and never had this problem. If I accidentally hit a key while taking it out of the holster, it always shows up as a * and you know to delete that stroke before typing in password. Any ideas?
Yes, it's the holster... any number of possibilities... maybe a holster without a sleep magnet... maybe it does have a sleep magnet, but you are putting it in the wrong way to activate sleep mode... maybe you are pushing a button when it's coming out... only you can figure that out.
