I was using a Nokia 5800 and was tired of crummy signal at home & especially work. So I purchased the Curve 8320 off craigslist, had some problems but the forums have been helpfull. Still working out some quirks but over all its not bad of a purchase.

Haha. Someone said they stole it. Lolz. My sister had a Pearl and I liked the whole emailing/internet idea. At the time I had a none-data enabled Q. I went into the store tried a bunch of phones including what I was really trying to purchase, the samsung pda slider. Tried the 8330 and went WOW. Sold....

    eBay, naturally.
Phone was only "a year old" (ya, RIGHT!), housing dented, cracked, beaten, LCD cover was cracked, and had no battery or accessories. Just the phone and battery cover, so I took a chance and spent $35.oo on it. I popped in one of my son's spare batteries and it worked MINT. Spent $25.oo on a new full black housing kit, $ 13.oo on new goodies (black trackball, black chrome ring, 8330 keypad tray), and $46 on a Seidio 2600 battery. She's all tinted out and rocks her Jack Skellington rubber case cover.

    Yeah, I'm addicted.

after a bunch dumb phones, i decided that i wanted and iphone so after a month after it came out, thats all i could wait, i got one. loved it for a little while but soon got really really sick of it. saw the curve on amazon on contract with att for $0.01 and since i wasnt able to get a subsidy for the original iphone, att had to honor this one. NEVER looked back...

Was nearing the end of my two yr contract with Sprint. Walking though the Wal-Mart I was working in at the time and noticed that not only was the curve free with two years, it was $68 bucks with 1 year. Sold on twice as often upgrades for only 70 bucks a year. Had the phone 3 months now and never looked back.

Friend of mine got a pearl flip. After playing with it for a while I wanted one. Since Sprint doesn't offer one, I went to the local WalMart to see what they had. Told me I could get a Curve for free. That was about 2 weeks ago and I haven't looked back since.

I was with T-Mobile for a long time, since Voicestream, but my business took me out of their coverage area, so I had to look for a different provider. I found Verizon and they had great coverage in that area as well as my home and most of my friends were on Big Red. So the decision was easy. The hard part was finding a phone. The manager told me about the 8330 (it was just coming out) and I was instantly sold. It's like my personal assistant, without the request days off! Since then, I have never looked back.

Went from a Samsung SCH-U740 to BB Curve 8330. Absoluetly love it. Got it from the Verizon store. Still learning things about it, shortcuts, etc....

In fact, it's so good that my new every two is up and I'm considering the new Curve 8530 or the Tour 2. Kind of scared to leave the 8330 because it is so good, but would like a better screen and more memory.

Got the extended Sedio battery for the 8330 - makes it a lot bigger, but worth it IMHO - days without recharging can't be beat.

HTC windows mobile phone bit the dust, and although ANYTHING would've been better than that piece, decided on my curve. BTW, I think I had seen crackberry.com once before that but didn't pay too much attention, maybe it was subconcious? Thank you, subconcious, I'm never gambling on anything else!

had 3 iphones previously. I finally got tired of paying att for them and bought my 8900 on craigslist. i am happy to say the least, even without touch screen. seems to be more durable, and runs faster than an iphone

Got off work one morning went to sleep. . .when I woke up, wifey had 2 free BB Curve 8330's for signing 2 years with Sprint. Costs me double my old AT&T plan which had run out a couple years ago. But, wifey's happy, and when wifey's happy the whole world is better for me. I've never sent a text message. . .and probably never will. But, I throwed a 16gb card in it, loaded all my audiobooks on the Curve and leave the iPod at home. Listen to Mystery audiobooks off BB Curve thru BackBeat 903 BT Stereo headset 8 hours every workday. But for this I'd really be nuts.
    Cheers,

Got it from work. We just switched from sprint 8330 and nextels 8350i to the verizon blackberry. I just broke my sprint phone and since they have boxes of them lying around I asked for one. They said take it. Gotta love free.
