I was reading last night here, tips to save the battery life..
And, I read about how you need to click alt + back button.. to know how many apps is running...

Well, mine has 5... that I can't close at all..
BB messenger, the browser, list of calls.. and 2 others that I can't remember from the top of my head (BB is in my bag)

Even when I click menu, close.. and I look at the list of apps running.... It's still there..
Is it normal?

Yes as far as I know this is normal. The BB will always run Phone, Messages, BBM, Browser and Home Screen.

Those 5 will always be "running".

Home Screen, Broswer, Messages, BlackBerry Messenger, Call Log

So it is normal.. ok I'll stop trying to close them all the time then haha
