    I was just wondering, (before I upgrade my OS again) what is the base warranty for a BB? I bought mine through ATT a the end of August and I did not buy insurance. I'm just currious what they would cover at this point.

    i think it really depends on the country or carrier? when i bought mine, i was given 2 years warranty.

    but not as if i'm planning to hold on my phone for 2 years. at the rate RIM is releasing new berries

    In the US all carriers support the 1 year manufacturers warranty.
