Hello!
Is it posible to lock APN settings to the certain varrier so it cannot be replaced.
I need this because my daughter changes apn settings daily and I pay very
high invoices for data usage. Is it posible to add or make a servicebook to lock those settings to home carrier?

highly doubt it, if your daughter is smart enough to change the blackberry apn settings, might as well call your service carrier and block it?

I dont know how hard shoul it be to go to settings and change APN settings.
An average teenager with a litlle skill knows how to change it.

After going threw this entire thread.

Here is the solution, it worked for me.

It is not the phone, it is the carrier, not even the SIM card per say

You need to call your carrier and tell them you need a BlackBerry data plan. These data plans are different from other smartphone plans. So all those carriers that are offering BB data plans are crippling this so you get their BB data plan. In my case, it cost the same, but in some cases they might charge extra for BBM etc.

Those carriers that do not treat BB any different than regular smartphones leave the APN editable.
