    Sometimes when I try to close my browser on my 8310 it seems to close and go to the desktop but I don't always think it does. When I try to go back on the internet it says requesting for a long time and then stops. I used the close option in the menu but it doesn't seem to work all of the time. The only way I can get out is to reboot. (take out the battery) Any suggestions?

    Welcome to CB. I have the same phone and have had the same occasional issue I have also taken the battery out and also turned off the unit from the desktop. The button (the berry button) has an option to close. If that doesn't work, try the switch app(under the berry button) , go to the desktop, and try to close(power off the BB). I'm no expert at this - just trying to help.

    Thanks for the reply. I tried everything that you recommened. Turning off the phone seems to work the fastest.

    I have had the same issues, even when I go back into it I will go into the menu slect STOP than close, and go back into it again. On some ocations this does not work than I shut it down and power on again.

    If anyone finds a better solution, please let me know. My PIN is on this. This can be very frustrating when you are trying to look up something. Today trying to look up what the weather was out side and someone that was sitting besides me with a iphone also looked it up, and I was still requesting they already had it and all I did was lock it up.

    Open browser then select MENU, OPTIONS, CACHE OPERATIONS to clean content cache, push content and cookie cache. Perform this periodly will help.
